Ambassador joins 17th Zagreb Pride March

The Ambassador participated in the Zagreb Pride March on Saturday 9 June 2018.

When joining the March the Ambassador stated: "Acknowledging that first and foremost: We are all human beings. Our gender, gender identity and sexual orientation do not make us unequal".

Alongside other Ambassadors, there were approximately a total of 10,000 participants, making it one of the biggest Pride events in recent years. There were substantial and very visible police protection along the route, but, nevertheless, the Pride March turned out peaceful in a nice, happy, and very friendly atmosphere. After the March, the organisers treated the gathered participants with a cosy atmosphere of one of Zagreb's most beautiful parks and live music performance.
